Terms of Service

Welcome to RetireWheel. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the RetireWheel website, software, calculators, and related services (collectively, the “Service”), operated by RetireWheel (“we,” “us,” or “our”) from Texas, United States.

Please read these Terms carefully. By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RetireWheel, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you and RetireWheel.

If you are using the Service on behalf of a trust, retirement account, or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

To use RetireWheel, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Be a resident of the United States.
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
  • Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable law.

RetireWheel is built for self-directed retail options traders who understand options trading and accept the risks involved. The Service is not intended for users outside the United States, and we make no representation that it complies with the laws of any other jurisdiction.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use most features of the Service. When you register, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
  • Maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorized access.
  • Notify us immediately at support@retirewheel.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
  • Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information, are shared across multiple users, or are used in violation of these Terms.

4. Subscription and Billing

4.1 Plans and Pricing

RetireWheel is offered on a paid subscription basis:

  • Monthly Plan: $19.00 USD per month
  • Annual Plan: $228.00 USD per year

Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and exclude any applicable taxes, which will be added at checkout where required.

4.2 Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.

4.3 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annual) at the then-current rate, using the payment method on file, until you cancel. You authorize us to charge that payment method on each renewal date.

4.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation stops future charges but does not entitle you to a refund for the current paid period, except as described in our Refund Policy.

4.5 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices from time to time. Any price change will take effect on your next renewal and we will give you at least 30 days' advance notice by email. Continuing to use the Service after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.

4.6 Failed Payments

If a payment fails, we may retry the charge, downgrade your account, or suspend access until payment is received.

5. Educational Content Disclaimer

RetireWheel provides educational content and analytical tools. It does NOT provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

  • No advisory relationship. RetireWheel is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, financial planner, or tax professional. Nothing in the Service constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, roll, or close any security, option, or other financial instrument.
  • No fiduciary duty. We owe you no fiduciary duty. We do not know your full financial picture, your tax situation, your account constraints, or your personal goals.
  • Framework-bounded education. The Service describes a framework — a structured set of rules, checklists, and analytical patterns derived from publicly known institutional approaches to options income strategies. Outputs from our calculators reflect that framework. They are not personalized recommendations.
  • Options trading involves substantial risk of loss. Selling cash-secured puts, covered calls, and writing options against long stock or LEAPS can result in losses that exceed initial premium received, including assignment at unfavorable prices, early exercise, and total loss of premium.
  • No guarantees. Past performance, backtests, scoring outputs, and example trades do not predict or guarantee future results.
  • You decide. Every trading decision is yours. You are solely responsible for whether, when, and how to act on anything you see in the Service. If you need advice tailored to your situation, consult a licensed financial advisor, CPA, or attorney.

6. Brokerage Connection (SnapTrade)

The Service may allow you to connect a U.S. brokerage account via SnapTrade, a third-party connectivity provider, to import positions, orders, and account data. By connecting a brokerage account, you understand and agree:

  • You will be directed to authenticate with SnapTrade and your broker. We do not see or store your broker login credentials.
  • Your use of SnapTrade is also governed by SnapTrade's terms of service and privacy policy.
  • SnapTrade and your broker — not RetireWheel — control the accuracy, completeness, and timing of the data delivered to us.
  • You are responsible for verifying every trade, position, and account value directly with your broker before acting.
  • RetireWheel does not place trades on your behalf. The Service does not have, and will not request, trading authority over your brokerage account.
  • You may disconnect your brokerage at any time from your account settings.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including market manipulation, insider trading, or any activity that violates U.S. securities laws.
  • Resell, sublicense, white-label, or otherwise commercially redistribute the Service or its outputs without our prior written consent.
  • Scrape, crawl, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract source code, models, or underlying data from the Service.
  • Use the Service to build a competing product or train any machine learning model.
  • Share your account credentials or circumvent any access control.
  • Upload malicious code, attempt to interfere with the Service's infrastructure, or probe it for vulnerabilities without written permission.
  • Misrepresent the Service's outputs as personalized financial advice to third parties.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, software, calculators, scoring logic, written material, branding, and the underlying framework presented in the Service are owned by RetireWheel or its licensors and are protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial trading and education while your subscription is active. All other rights are reserved.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what we collect, how we use it, and your rights. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described there.

10. Termination

You may cancel and close your account at any time from your dashboard or by emailing support@retirewheel.com.

We may suspend or terminate your access — with or without notice — if you violate these Terms, if your account presents a security or fraud risk, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive (Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law, Dispute Resolution) will survive. Refunds, if any, are governed by our Refund Policy.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RetireWheel, its officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or trading losses, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total cumulative liability will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100.00).

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RetireWheel and its officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any law or third-party right, or any trade you place based on anything you saw in the Service.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them or the Service are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The federal and state courts located in Texas have exclusive jurisdiction for any matter not subject to arbitration under Section 15.

15. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Please read this section carefully. It affects your legal rights.

15.1 Informal Resolution

Before filing any claim, you agree to first contact us at support@retirewheel.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, either party may proceed to arbitration.

15.2 Binding Arbitration

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.

15.3 Class Action Waiver

You and RetireWheel agree to bring claims only in an individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative action.

15.4 Opt-Out

You may opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing support@retirewheel.com with the subject line “Arbitration Opt-Out” and your account email.

16. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service at least 14 days before the change takes effect. The “Last Updated” date at the top reflects the current version.

17. Miscellaneous

  • Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between you and RetireWheel regarding the Service.
  • Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
  • No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
  • Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
  • Force Majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
